Rangely put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 63-15 win over the Vail Mountain Gore Rangers. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Gore Rangers are ranked 302nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Miah Wren continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Aubriana Tapia was another key player, going 8 of 13 on her way to 17 points.

Rangely smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in six consecutive matches.

Vail Mountain lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Abby Adochio, who posted seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Adochio, who earned eight points and three steals.

Rangely's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points per game. As for Vail Mountain, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Rangely didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-22 win against North Park on the 25th. Vail Mountain has also already played their next contest, a 55-18 loss against Plateau Valley on the 25th.
