NOLAN HALL had a dynamite game, throwing for 266 yards and three TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes. Those 266 passing yards gave him a new career-high. OSCAR SOTO helped HALL out on the ground, rushing for 33 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also picking up 38 receiving yards.
Terrell's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. In that department, KEENAN MORROW was the leader with three sacks. Terrell received some extra help from ASA KOMISSAROV, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Terrell, adding 24 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of NOAH LEWIS, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Huntsville strolled past Marshall with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 21-7. The Hornets pushed the score to 21-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mavericks cut but never quite recovered from.
Huntsville found their leader in sophomore Zarien Adolphe, who rushed for 141 yards and two scores on only 14 carries, and also threw for 100 yards on six of 11 attempts. Adolphe is becoming a predictor of the Hornets' success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 3-4 when he doesn't).
Huntsville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 219 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 219 rushing yards in four consecutive games.
Terrell's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Huntsville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
