Basketball Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss

Memorial saw some tournament action on Friday. They had to suffer through a 62-34 loss at the hands of the Highland Park Scots. The matchup marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Memorial and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Highland Park, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Memorial will head out to take on Aledo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland Park, they will venture away from home to challenge Wakeland at 7:15 p.m. on December 20th.
