Soccer Game Preview: Westover vs. St. Pauls

The Westover Wolverines are taking a road trip to take on the St. Pauls Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Monday, Westover didn't have quite enough to beat Douglas Byrd and fell 2-1.

The Wolverines' goal came courtesy of Dashaun Tapps, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, St. Pauls waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 10-1 win. The result was nothing new for St. Pauls, who have now won six matches by four goals or more so far this season.

St. Pauls' victory bumped their record up to 10-3-2. As for Westover, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Westover suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to St. Pauls in their previous matchup back in August of 2023. Can the Wolverines avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
