Voyager piles up the points against Vance Charter

The Voyager Vikings won the last time they faced the Vance Charter Knights, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Voyager blew past Vance Charter 73-38 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Voyager.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Voyager to victory, but perhaps none more so than David McMillon, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dwight Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The win got Voyager back to even at 8-8. As for Vance Charter, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Voyager will look to defend their home court on Friday against Oxford Prep at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Oxford Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 back in December of 2023. Vance Charter will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Roxboro Community at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Roxboro Community is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
