Baseball Recap: Stroud Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Stroud had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Watonga on Friday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 13-3 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Stroud's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Watonga, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-17.

Stroud has already played their next contest, a 7-6 loss against Latta on the 10th. Watonga does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
