Soccer Recap: Swansboro Comes Up Short

Swansboro's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Richlands Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Swansboro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 269th, while Richlands are ranked 62nd).

Swansboro's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14-1. As for Richlands, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-2-2.

As of now, neither Swansboro nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
