East Hardy is a perfect 10-0 against Union since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars face off against the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. East Hardy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, East Hardy humbled Northern Garrett with an 84-40 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Union suffered their closest loss since February 23, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of Clay-Battelle by a score of 52-49. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Hardy will need to focus on slowing down Braylon Ward, one of several Union players who made an impact when they last played. He dropped a double-double with 18 points and 13 boards. Ward has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. Another player making a difference was Corbin Streets, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Union smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive contests.

East Hardy pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 40 points. As for Union, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Everything went East Hardy's way against Union in their previous matchup on February 4th, as East Hardy made off with a 55-32 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Hardy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
