Volleyball Recap: Emmanuel Christian's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

Emmanuel Christian lost against Cardinal Stritch back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2. The loss put an end to the Warriors' undefeated start to the season.

Emmanuel Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Cardinal Stritch work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-19, 23-25, 22-25, 21-19.

Having lost for the first time this season, Emmanuel Christian fell to 5-1. As for Cardinal Stritch, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Emmanuel Christian will venture away from home to face off against Toledo Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cardinal Stritch, they will head out to square off against Vanlue at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
