Basketball Game Preview: Mandarin Mustangs vs. Ribault Trojans

Having just played yesterday, the Mandarin Mustangs will jump right back in to play the Ribault Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Mandarin earned a 41-32 victory over Riverside. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

It was another big night for Reese Holman, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points. Keeley Mosley was another key player, putting up ten points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Ribault made easy work of Atlantic Coast on Friday and carried off a 63-37 win. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Ribault's record is now 12-7. As for Mandarin, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Mandarin came up short against Ribault in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 48-43. Can Mandarin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
