Basketball Recap: Grand Meadow Picks Up Ninth Consecutive Win

Grand Meadow waltzed into their game on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They breezed by the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals to the tune of 66-36. The match marked the Superlarks' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Despite the loss, LeRoy-Ostrander still got an impressive performance from Benita Nolt, who went 7 for 11 en route to 22 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Miranda Nagel, who posted eight points.

Grand Meadow's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Grand Meadow wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-37 victory against Fillmore Central on the 17th.
