Volleyball Recap: Loyal Victorious

Loyal won the last time they faced Whitehall and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Greyhounds skirted past the Norse 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Loyal got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 11-25, 15-9.

The win got Loyal back to even at 1-1. As for Whitehall, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Loyal will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Prentice at 6:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Whitehall, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Blair-Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on September 11. This will be the Norse's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
