Baseball Recap: Union Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Union came out on top against Ben Lomond on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Cougars were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Scots. Considering the Cougars have won seven matches by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Union's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Ben Lomond, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
