Softball Recap: Thunder Basin Triumphs

Thunder Basin won the last time they faced Natrona County and things went their way on Monday too. The Bolts walked away with an 11-8 win over the Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bolts.

Madlyn Means was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Ludwar, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.

Thunder Basin hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive matchups.

Thunder Basin's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Natrona County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

As of now, neither Thunder Basin nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
