Volleyball Recap: East St. Louis Flyers vs. Breese Central Cougars
East St. Louis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Breese Central Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Flyers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.
The final score came out to 25-6, 25-21.
East St. Louis' loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Breese Central, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-9.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Rochester the next time they take the court. Breese Central will head out to face Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while East St. Louis will head out to face them at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
