After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northwest Guilford, Asheboro was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 53-18 victory over the Thomasville Bulldogs. The win continues a trend for the Blue Comets in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Thomasville's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makayla Scott, who posted eight points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Star Gladney, who scored three points and four steals.

The victory got Asheboro back to even at 2-2. As for Thomasville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
