Basketball Recap: Falmouth Comes Up Short

Falmouth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were dealt a 71-22 defeat at the hands of the Westbrook Blue Blazes. The Navigators were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-10.

It was another big night for Kylie Young, who went 5 for 6 on her way to 13 points for Westbrook. Sydney Seavey was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds.

Falmouth's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Westbrook, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Falmouth will square off against Windham at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westbrook, they will venture away from home to square off against Kennebunk at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
