Softball Recap: Southwest Guilford Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Southwest Guilford was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 12-2 to the Northwest Guilford Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cowboys of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Southwest Guilford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caroline Christman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Amelia Stewart also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Southwest Guilford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-0 loss against Glenn on the 26th. As for Northwest Guilford, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Davie on the 27th.
