Basketball Recap: Nooksack Valley Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

On Friday, the Nooksack Valley Pioneers didn't have too much trouble with the Silas Rams as they won 42-26.

Despite the loss, Silas still got an impressive performance from Carmayla Jackson, who posted six points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jordin Pinkett, who earned eight points.

Nooksack Valley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Silas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Nooksack Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 42-37 defeat against Juanita on the 28th. As for Silas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 36-23 loss against Mark Morris on the 28th.
