Lane Tech extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Dalton Scantlebury. The Lane Tech Champions took down the Agricultural Science Cyclones 63-45 on Thursday thanks in part to Scantlebury, who went 5 of 8 to rack up 13 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Matthew Szafoni was another key player, going 6 for 10 on his way to 13 points and five boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Lane Tech's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Agricultural Science, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-9.

Lane Tech has already played their next game, a 65-62 loss against Kenwood on the 8th. As for Agricultural Science, they will venture away from home to challenge Oak Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Agricultural Science is facing Oak Forest at the right time seeing as Oak Forest is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
