Volleyball Game Preview: Castaic Coyotes vs. Saugus Centurions

Castaic hasn't had much luck against Saugus recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Coyotes will square off against the Centurions at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Castaic came up short against Canyon on Monday, falling 3-0.

Castaic took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-19.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Saugus' good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Golden Valley by a score of 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Saugus sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 17-25, 25-14, 18-25, 15-13.

Castaic's loss dropped their record down to 12-11-1. As for Saugus, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-15.

Castaic couldn't quite get it done against Saugus in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 3-1. Can the Coyotes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
