Baseball Recap: Pocono Mountain West Panthers vs. East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers
Pocono Mountain West had lost six straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 2-11 to make it seven. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in March.
Pocono Mountain West saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Kliesh, who went 1-for-2 with one run.
As for East Stroudsburg South, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.

Pocono Mountain West has already played their next game, a 5-2 loss against Louis E. Dieruff on the 28th. As for East Stroudsburg South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-2 defeat against Stroudsburg on the 25th.
