Basketball Game Preview: Hoboken Redwings vs. Snyder Tigers

Hoboken is 1-9 against Snyder since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Hoboken Redwings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Snyder Tigers at 12:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Hoboken beat North Bergen 53-42. Given the Redwings' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Bruins are ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Snyder, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 56-47 victory over Bayonne on Thursday.

Snyder has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points per game. As for Hoboken, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5.
