Softball Preview: Avon Braves vs. Le Roy Oatkan Knights

Avon and Le Roy are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Avon Braves will head out on the road to take on the Le Roy Oatkan Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Avon will be strutting in after a win while Le Roy will be coming in after a loss.

Avon's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over York.

Jessie Crye spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just zero earned runs on two hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than seven innings every time she's pitched this season.
