Basketball Recap: Abdullah Syllah's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Norman Thomas over Graphics

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Norman Thomas can now relate to. They took a hard 61-42 fall against Graphics on Thursday. The matchup was a 17-17 toss-up at halftime, but the Tigers couldn't quite close it out.

Norman Thomas' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abdullah Syllah, who posted 13 points. Syllah is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Roger Torres was another key player, putting up five points and six rebounds.

Norman Thomas' loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Graphics, their victory bumped their record up to 18-2.
