Volleyball Recap: Seven Rivers Christian Takes a Loss

Seven Rivers Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Seven Rivers Christian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 18-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Seven Rivers Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Foundation Christian Academy, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Seven Rivers Christian will challenge West Port at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Foundation Christian Academy, they will take on Sarasota Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
