Volleyball Game Preview: Martin County Tigers vs. Lakeland Dreadnaughts + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Martin County Tigers and the Lakeland Dreadnaughts will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Martin County's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Lakeland has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Martin County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Dwyer by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Dwyer scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 19-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Kaylee Alvarez had an outrageously good game as she had 17 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played. Brynn Burgk also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Meanwhile, Lakeland posted their closest win since September 13th on Wednesday. They skirted past Bartow 3-2.

Martin County's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Lakeland, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
