Soccer Recap: Danville Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Peoria Notre Dame, Danville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Richland County Tigers.

Reese Rundle and Lindsey Porter scored both of Danville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Danville now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Richland County, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Danville has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against St. Thomas More on the 12th. As for Richland County, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Charleston on the 12th.
