Basketball Recap: Providence Christian Takes a Loss

Providence Christian lost against Abbeville back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles fell 51-43 to the Yellowjackets.

Providence Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Abbeville, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Charles Henderson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Abbeville, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Eufaula at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
