South Aiken is 9-1 against Midland Valley since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Thoroughbreds will head out on the road to face off against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. South Aiken is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

South Aiken is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering North Augusta just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 5-1 to the Yellow Jackets. Things were pretty much settled by the half as South Aiken were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Savvas Chionakis, who's now up to 24 this season.

Meanwhile, Midland Valley hadn't done well against Aiken recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Mustangs won by a goal and slipped past the Fighting Green Hornets 2-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for Midland Valley as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

South Aiken's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Midland Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Everything went South Aiken's way against Midland Valley in their previous meeting on April 3rd, as South Aiken made off with a 4-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thoroughbreds since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
