Volleyball Recap: Kiowa Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kiowa can now relate to. They came up short against the McClave Cardinals on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2016.

Kiowa took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-9, 25-12.

Kiley Kuhn paced Kiowa's offense, picking up five kills. Kuhn got some help from Rylee Wyer and her nine assists.

Kiowa's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-10. As for McClave, their win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-2.

As of now, neither Kiowa nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
