Softball Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Bruins vs. Western Boone Stars

Tri-West Hendricks had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Western Boone Stars on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for Tri-West Hendricks who now have three in a row.

Audrey Lowry spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 22 consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Danica James was incredible, going 1-for-3 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI.
