Baseball Recap: Smith Comes Up Short

Smith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the Taft Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 back in March.

Smith's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Taft, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Coincidentally, Smith and Taft will both be playing Stevenson the next time they take the field. The Warriors will host the Ambassadors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Golden Eagles will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
