Softball Recap: Woodmont's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Woodmont extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 17-5 in the process. They blew past the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets 9-2. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Yellow Jackets back in March, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

As for T.L. Hanna, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For T.L. Hanna's part, Kendall Coakley 2029 was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Hanna Davis 2028, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Woodmont will square off against rival Mauldin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, T.L. Hanna is set to challenge their familiar foe Easley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
