Basketball Recap: Clinton Dark Horses vs. Lakewood Leopards

After flying high against Union last Friday, Clinton came back down to earth. The Clinton Dark Horses took a blow against the Lakewood Leopards on Monday, falling 69-35. The Dark Horses were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Leopards apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Clinton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Zy Wallace, who posted five points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Dustin Pike, who scored five points and eight rebounds.

Even though they lost, Clinton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.
