The Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 43-35 win over Beekmantown. Given Bellows Free Academy's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 32nd in Vermont, while Beekmantown is ranked 169th in New York), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Beekmantown still got an impressive performance from Payton Parliament, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The game was Parliament's ninth in a row with at least ten points.

Bellows Free Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Beekmantown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Bellows Free Academy will head out on the road to face off against South Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Burlington is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Beekmantown will take on AuSable Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
