Baseball Recap: Pleasant Grove's Run of Six Straight Victories Now Over

Pleasant Grove and Lehi squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Pleasant Grove had to settle for second. They lost 8-2 to the Pioneers. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

Pleasant Grove saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Hawk Henry, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

With the defeat, Pleasant Grove broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 23-5. As for Lehi, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season.
