Basketball Game Preview: West Hall Spartans vs. Franklin County Lions

The West Hall Spartans will take on the Franklin County Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West Hall will be strutting in after a victory while Franklin County will be coming in after a loss.

West Hall will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 21 points last Saturday, then bounced right back against Johnson on Friday. The Spartans breezed past the Knights to the tune of 59-24. The Spartans have beaten the Knights the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Knights has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Franklin County lost 64-40 to Oglethorpe County on Thursday.

West Hall now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Franklin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

West Hall was able to grind out a solid win over Franklin County when the teams last played back in January of 2016, winning 43-32. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
