Volleyball Recap: Hayden Comes Up Short

If Hayden was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lobos came up short against the Duncan Wildkats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Lobos in their meetings with the Wildkats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Hayden was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-22, 25-19.

Hayden's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Duncan, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-14.

Coming up, Hayden will welcome Dishchii'bikoh at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Duncan, they will venture away from home to square off against Superior at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
