Volleyball Recap: Truman Takes a Loss

Truman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bronx High School of Science Wolverines. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Truman's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bronx High School of Science, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Truman will venture away from home to face off against Walton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bronx High School of Science, they will face off against Roosevelt Educational at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Roosevelt Educational will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bronx High School of Science surely won't give up without a fight.
