Basketball Recap: Buchholz Comes Up Short

Buchholz blew Columbia out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Columbia got their revenge. The Bobcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 40-38. The Bobcats have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Leading Columbia to victory were Kadrian Wilson and Zaeon Jones. Wilson posted ten points and seven rebounds, while Jones shot 71% from the field on his way to 15 points. What's more, Wilson posted two assists, the most he's had since back in January of 2025.

Buchholz's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Columbia, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Coming up, Buchholz will challenge The Rock at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Columbia, they will take on Bradford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tornadoes will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
