The Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca Wolves had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 74-48 walloping at the hands of Cardinal O'Hara on Saturday. Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca lost against Cardinal O'Hara in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 64-62 score last time.

Cardinal O'Hara's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cannon Dotson, who scored 24 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Dotson has scored at least 25% of Cardinal O'Hara's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kels Ivey, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.

Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Cardinal O'Hara, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca will take on Western New York Maritime Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cardinal O'Hara, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Christian Central Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
