Basketball Recap: Mountain Mission Has No Trouble Against Betsy Layne

On Friday, the Mountain Mission Challengers didn't have too much trouble with the Betsy Layne Bobcats as they won 61-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Challengers.

Annah Chacha was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 15 rebounds. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. Ella Rasnake was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Mountain Mission's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Betsy Layne, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.

Looking ahead, Mountain Mission will take on Summit Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Mountain Mission is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.8 points per game this season. We've got a battle between Bobcats coming up.
