Football Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

Trinity Christian Academy extended their postseason success on Friday against Maclay. They blew past the Marauders 56-28. Considering the Conquerors have won five games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

When it comes to explaining why Maclay lost, don't look at Henry Richardson. Despite the final result, he picked up 207 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The victory (which was Trinity Christian Academy's seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.1 points on average over those games. As for Maclay, they dropped their record down to 8-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Trinity Christian Academy will head out to square off against University Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Christians will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. Maclay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
