Basketball Game Preview: Lehman Lobos vs. Cedar Park Timberwolves

Lehman is 0-4 against Cedar Park since December of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Lehman Lobos will head out to take on the Cedar Park Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Lehman turned things around against Lockhart on Tuesday. They took down the Lions 45-28.

Meanwhile, Cedar Park didn't have too much trouble with Hays on Tuesday as they won 44-30. Given the Timberwolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Hawks are ranked 178th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cedar Park has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Lehman, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Lehman took a serious blow against Cedar Park in their previous meeting back in January, falling 60-16. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lehman was down 31-4.
