Basketball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside came up into this matchup off a tough 21-point loss last Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Mid Valley Spartans by a score of 29-27 on Friday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Riverside now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Mid Valley, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Riverside will welcome Dunmore at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mid Valley, they will challenge Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
