Basketball Game Preview: Tehachapi Warriors vs. Golden Valley Bulldogs

Tehachapi has won three straight games at home, while Golden Valley has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Tehachapi Warriors will host the Golden Valley Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Tehachapi is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season.

Tehachapi is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering San Joaquin Memorial just ended the team's eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 55-42 to the Panthers.

Tehachapi's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Koree Rodden, who posted 13 points along with seven boards and three steals, and Jamie Neaderbaomer, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points. The dominant performance also gave Rodden a new career-high in blocks (three).

Meanwhile, Golden Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Arvin on Friday, but they still walked away with a 36-31 victory.

Tehachapi's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Golden Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.
