Basketball Recap: Sequoyah Comes Up Short

Sequoyah won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were dealt a 58-30 defeat at the hands of the Heritage Mountaineers. The loss continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Mountaineers: they've now lost five in a row.

Sequoyah's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Heritage, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-8.

While Sequoyah had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
