Fremont has gone 9-0 against Burke recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Fremont Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Burke Bulldogs at 5:45 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Fremont challenged Norfolk on Tuesday. Fremont fell 50-41 to Norfolk. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jenna McClain, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 39% of Fremont's points, marking the tenth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Denker, who put up 11 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Burke came into Friday's match having lost 17 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Omaha South 68-33 on Friday. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Burke, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

Fremont strolled past Burke in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 56-39. Will Fremont repeat their success, or does Burke have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
