There's no place like home for Wakefield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Enloe Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Wakefield never let Enloe on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-13.

Lila Piburn paced Wakefield's offense, picking up eight kills. Piburn also shared the team's lead in assists with Gigi Ugur: they picked up ten each. Piburn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Wakefield is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Enloe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Wakefield has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Apex Friendship on the 18th. Enloe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
